Becky Borthwick is a Marlborough based artist whose innate love and affinity with the outdoors, nature, animals and the change in seasons has led her to the tangible artwork of textile stitched collage and sculpture.

Working with fabric, paper and stitching, she builds layers upon layers to intuitively create her evocative artwork.

Becky seeks to capture the memory of the landscape in details: from the length of the stubble, softness of the grass or the grit of the chalk which the layers of textured fabrics help to conjure.
