Chris Wright
Chris Wright is a painter born in Falkirk, Scotland, whose work explores memory, landscape and the quiet poetry of everyday life. Caravans have become a particular focus of his practice, acting as symbols of freedom, adventure and the transience of travel. Drawing on memories of childhood holidays, long summer days and a sense of endless possibility, Chris transforms familiar scenes into contemplative moments tinged with nostalgia and longing.
Chris studied Interior Design before studying Fine Art at the Cyprus College of Art under Stass Paraskos. He has taught in independent schools in Kent and Wiltshire since 1999 and has exhibited widely, including at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Royal Scottish Academy and Royal West of England Academy. In 2026, he competed in Sky Arts’ Landscape Artist of the Year.
Chris's Solo Exhibition runs 7- 24th July 2027.
