About the event
ART & MUSIC :
MADE are excited to present our next collaborative event with the Pewsey Heritage Centre, bringing art and music together for a special one-off evening. It is our great pleasure to introduce MADE Artist Julieann Worrall Hood whose exhibition 'Tattooing the Tuba' opens at the gallery in May.
For this body of work, Julieann shared drawings and fragments of text with composer Jess Faber, who translated these visual and written cues into a musical score. As part of the exhibition, Jess Faber’s new composition "Clouds" will receive its live premiere within a celestial sculptural installation by Julieann. The work will be performed by composer and pianist Jess Faber, violinist Eliza Burkitt, and cellist Natalie Alfillé-Cook on 16 May at the Pewsey Heritage Centre.
The evening will begin at MADE in the Pewsey Vale gallery with a drinks reception for the forthcoming exhibition.
