Leanda spent 14 years with British Vogue before moving into illustration and subsequently painting. Her inspiration is mainly found in the natural landscape and influenced heavily by the poetry and art of the Romantic period. She works mainly in oil and cold wax using tools such as rope, stones and driftwood to make marks. The works are predominently abstract leaving much to the viewer’s own interpretation.
