Susan Kirkman

Susan Kirkman began her career as a physicist in the NHS before turning her focus to painting and printmaking after retirement. She pursued a range of courses in both disciplines and now regularly opens her studio as part of the Open Studio schemes in Newbury and Marlborough. Her work is exhibited both locally and nationally.

Drawing on her scientific background, she enjoys experimenting with different styles and media, with a particular interest in the technical aspects of printmaking processes.
