MADE is delighted to announce the forthcoming exhibition 'HOME GROUND' by Wiltshire artist, Kate Wade. Kate invites you to step into countryside through her most recent watercolour, gouache and acrylic works.

ABOUT HOME GROUND

Home Ground alludes to the comforting sensation of being in the countryside, in familiar surroundings - a second home. The familiarity and constancy of nature provide a daily framework, and the noticing of tiny changes through the seasons sparks anticipation and emotion.

Recurring themes in Kate’s work are views glimpsed through hedgerows and trees to the space beyond, and atmospheric enclosed woodland areas. Coastal views also provide inspiration and opportunities to explore colour and texture.
