WINTER COLLECTIVE

IN COLLABORATION WITH BARNEBY GATES

17 DECEMBER 2024 - 25 JANUARY 2025

WHAT WE DO

We are a community collective of creatives who come together to share and exhibit work, developing a network of artists, makers, customers and collectors from in and around the Vale of Pewsey.

MADE in the Pewsey Vale is a space in the heart of Pewsey: a vibrant place to live and work. The gallery offers both visitors and members a space to explore art from the local area through biannual collective exhibitions, solo exhibitions from our member artists, workshops and pop-ups.

We are a hub for both artists and the community to promote the arts and add to the growing Pewsey high street.

In this warming exhibition, artists have focussed on use of colour to draw people in, submitting works which emanate joy and  happiness over the Winter period. Our artists will also be selling a range of handmade items throughout the show.

FREYA BARTON - DREAMLAND

6 - 15 February 2025

We are excited to announce that the incredible Freya Barton will be our first solo artist of 2025! Freya's colourful paintings radiate joy.  She experiments with ideas and materials throughout her work creating unique work which tells a story.  Her inspiration comes from Folk Art, her love of colour and the composition of still life.  Her paintings use vibrant playful colours and play with perspective, with elements of pattern and 2D imagery stemming from her background in Textile Design. Come to see her wonderful work which is sure to brighten up the cold February days!

WORKSHOPS

MADE in the Pewsey Vale will also be offering workshops in our gallery space, hosted by member artists and special guests.
