Amy Shuckburgh is a London-based artist working in soft pastel and oil paint. Her practice spans landscape, still life, and figurative painting, using a loose, expressive style.

 

Her acclaimed Motherhood series, which won the Heatherley’s Drawing Award in 2019, offers a raw and honest portrayal of caregiving and the realities of motherhood.

 

Amy studied at the Slade, the Royal Drawing School, and L’École des Beaux Arts, and holds degrees from Leeds and Goldsmiths.
