Arran Miles

Visual Artist

Arran graduated from St Martins School of Art and worked in the Fashion/Textiles business for a number of years as Head of Design in studios in London and Paris. She gradually made the transition from Commercial Art to Fine Art. Her focus in Fine Art has always been drawing the Life Figure, working mainly in charcoal, pastels, inks and washes. She has more recently enjoyed various forms of printmaking, working landscapes and cityscapes. Arran teaches Life Drawing classes in Newbury and runs life drawing workshops throughout the year. She takes part in the annual Marlborough and Newbury Festival Open Studio schemes and exhibits in galleries locally and nationally.
