Influenced by the tonal studies of the nineteenth century; the French classicism of Corot, the English stylishness of William Nicholson, “I would like to imagine myself producing paintings that would be, like plain food, enjoyable every day; neither hot nor cold, sweet or sharp, happy or sad.”
Christopher lives near Shaftesbury, Dorset.
Christopher's forthcoming exhibition 'Landscapes: the West Country and Italy' runs from 23 October - 1st November.
